First Snow

Last  week we had our first snow that stuck. I supposed it is that time of year, but I just prefer it stay mild out. It is this time of year that I dream of moving somewhere where the sun shines a lot and the weather is always mild. In fact the first day of cold, blustery weather, I curled up on the couch and pouted that it would now be harder to get outdoors with the kids. Sure, it is still do-able to go out with the kids, but now they must not only  be dressed, but should be bundled. That means locating gloves, hats, coats, and shoes even. Then when we come back inside there are snot-cicles to deal with, wet clothes, and puddles under shoes.

In bed Friday night Steve and I decided that we would take  the kids sledding the next day. The next morning we were barely out of bed and the kids were already in layers and mostly ready to get out in the first snow. We obliged, and we went outside too. We didn't go sledding per say, but we did have a lot of fun. When we got back in we had hot chocolate. The kids  thought it was the best thing ever!
Dad and Jenna here. All of the kids loved riding and ramping the snow! Trev got the most air and hung on like a champ.
