Not sure what that expression means, "the dog days of summer". I think of heat and just the things that are typical if not mandatory to do during summer break. Like a country time lemonade commercial. Anyway, I blew up the pool and the kids had a blast playing in the yard. I have to say that more than I have in a long time, I am enjoying being a mom. It's ok if that sounds weird to you. I think that even though we are having stress with a job hunt, I am happy to be with my kids with little else on the agenda. I am thankful for these kiddos, and that I am not working nights for the moment.
